Barthelemy began Cross-Country skiing with her family when she was around 3 years... She made the base of her careerin Guillestre before she moved with her family to La Roche sur Foron in November 2003...In 2005 she competed at the European Youth Olympic Games in Monthey (SUI)...In 2006, the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships was the season highlight where she finished 8th over 5 km and 13th in skiathlon.. She was awarded with a spot in the National Junior team after her good results in her first junior season and started for the first time in the World Cup in La Clusaz in December 2006... In March 2007 the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships were on schedule, where she finished the 5 km race as 29th and 32nd in skiathlon...A year later in Malles, Barthelemy claimed victory in sprint and took second place in Pursuit...In 2009 she competed at the U23 World Championships in Praz de Lys where she finished 10th over 10km and took part at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec...2010 was her first Olympic Games with a start over 10 km...In 2011 she made her first individual top ten spot as 6th in sprint in Liberec followed by an impressive 7th place in sprint at the World Ski Championships in Oslo. |
