Kristoffersen started skiing at an early age...to get better educated at school and sports she moved to Meraker later on...in 2007 she appeared on the international skiing scene by winning the 7,5 km competition at the European Youth festival...in the same year she took silver medal at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships...in November 2007 Kristoffersen made her debut in the World Cup in Beitostoelen...in the same season she claimed victory with her team in the relay at the FIS Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Malles...she repeated this achievement a year later in Praz de Lys and finished 8th in sprint and 4th in relay at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec...right after the Worlds Kristoffersen earned her first World Cup podium in Lahti placing third over 10 km.. in 2011 she finished 7th in the Tour de Ski and took part at the home FIS Nordic World Ski Championships where she finished 15th in skiathlon

…Kristoffersen lives in Meråker and has recently completed a foundation course in sport at the college there. She enjoys living at home and going to stay there also next season. But she thinks she will miss school. “It has been very good, and they have done everything they can to facilitate me. It is nice to have something else to think about in a while. But skiing is the first priority and then the school in the secondary,” said the young talent.
...she was very pleased with her 7th place at the FIS Tour de Ski 2011 and is looking for the next edition which will be her season highlight 2011/12. To her longterm goals counts the Olympic Games 2014. “Setting goals and then reach them, it motivates and makes me happy,” stated Kristoffersen.
