Eldar ROENNING NOR

Roenning was pretty much born with skis on his feet like most Norwegians are...he took part at the FIS Nordic Junior World Championships in Karpacz in 2001 and in Schonach 2002 ...in Schonach he finished just off the podium in fourth...the year after, Roenning did his first World Cup competition in Otepää...in 2005, just before the FIS World Championships in Oberstdorf, he took his first podium combined with the first World Cup victory in Reit im Winkl...in the season 2006/2007 Roenning started consistently strong and led the World Cup standings before going into the Christmas break...Roenning took part in the 2010 Olympic Games and at three World Championships since 2005...his biggest individual success is the silver medal over 15 km classic at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in 2011 followed by the bronze medal in sprint at the Worlds in Sapporo in 2007 and the three relay World Champion titles in Sapporo, Liberec and Oslo.
