Absolutly Scandinavia!
The first World Cups are over now and I'm just back in the Engadin. What should I say to the first races...I was hoping for a better start into the World Cup season but the results in Beitostoelen were simply bad, except for the qualification of our team for the Olympics. On the last weekend in Kuusamo I tried to be a sprinter again - but I have to be honest, I must still work on my skills in the sprint - maybe in Rogla - check it out ;-). But then the 15 km in classical style was not so bad - I had a good feeling but at the end I lost a bit of my power. However, it was a great race on the demanding course in Ruka...absolutly!

But besides the sports activities, I also enjoyed being up north and having good snow conditions. Life there is totally different, people are calmer and more relaxed but the food is not in Swiss style;-) Fortunately, I found Peppe's Pizza and the steak house... Absolutly!

After 27 day's I'm now back home in Pontresina and happy that I can enjoy mum's kitchen again ;-) I will stay here until December 10th, practice and relax in the mountains doing Alpine skiing . We just got a lot of snow here, the training conditions are ideal and the ski resorts are open. Davos will be my next World Cup races and I hope I can meet the second half of the Olympic qualification criteria to qualify as an individual competitor. For that I need another top 25 rank. So come and cheer me on at the Swiss home race in Davos!

See you there
