Blue is a nice color. I like it a lot, except when I am blue already after two stages in the Tour de Ski. Of course, I am not blue, although the prologue and the first pursuit were very tough races. In the pursuit, the field just went off like ready, steady, go. But I managed to stay in the top group and achieved my season best result. Thanks to blue. Finally, after many years, I got a brand new cap, with my sponsors on. The old one, it was really old and no one at Swiss-Ski really liked it. But the new one is ok, except that it is a bit wide and my ears are cold.....

As R.P. wrote in a comment to my last blog: "Important is to drink a lot during the tour". Yes R.P. this is absolutely correct and I am sure we can do that together one day. For now, I started to drink a lot prior to the Tour and will do that during the Tour stages as well. Maybe that also helps to warm up my ears a bit while wearing that new cap......
