Relay was another story. We lost it ourselves. Blame it or wrong choice of equipment, poor tactics or poor performance on course. All of us were hoping for an exploit but we were realistic before the race. Medal hopes were rather exaggerated by media. Clearly, we have dreamed of a medal- but unfortunately it remained only as a dream.
Now we have to look confidently forward. I find that quite difficult at the moment because I have been suffering from a sore throat for a few days. I felt as if my throat was bleeding after the relay. Luckily or Doc Nock took perfectly care of me and I hope he'll get make me ready again for Sunday. I would love to have a chance to fight in the 50 km race. It will be my last chance for success at these Olympics.;-)
Cheers, Curdin
Note: Ufortunately Curdin will not start on Sunday due to continuous sore throat. He has been on antibiotics.
