Rest day in Val di Fiemme

It is the first real rest day today without driving and running. It comes at the right time as all of us, athletes and staff, are tired. This 4th FIS Tour de Ski is the most demanding one because we have one more race compared to last year and we had four races in a row at the beginning. Included in these four days was also a travel distance of 4,5 hours. We had also for the first time a long distance race from Cortina/Tre Cime to Toblach, which was challenging, too.

The French athletes had a long sleep today, an easy morning and then lunch followed by a power nap in the early afternoon. Then really light training in the afternoon.

Tomorrow we will go into the final Tour weekend. Two tough races are ahead of us and it is still quite tight. I'm sure you will see exciting races with a demanding Final Climb on Sunday!

Talk to you soon,

Yours Pierre
