Salut from France
Salut from France
The training has been very good in spring and first days of summer. The heat makes workouts kind of difficult and more demanding but I am content with my progress. In spring I had to finish this school years university studies. I study at the University of Grenoble biology. There is one more year to go to reach the diploma.
In spring there were some changes in the French national team too. Our head coach Pierre Mignerey left for FIS to work as an Assistant FIS race director Cross-Country. Christophe Deloche took his position. There is also no more group "world cup" but a team A and a team B that carries out joint training sessions. Thus, the team B evolves with team A. Atmosphere in the team is very relaxed and we laugh all the time.
In summer training period I focus mainly on my classic technique. I also work on speed both in classic and free. Natural part of my training is power and strength workouts. For next season my biggest goal is not surprisingly Oslo. I want to capture a medal. I will take part in Tour de Ski I would like to make a good result there. Last but not least we will have a home World Cup in La Clusaz. Competition in front of home fans, friends and supporters is always special and I want to perform there in best possible way.

The world championships in Oslo are my main objective. I wish a medal. The Tour de Ski is a large objective also. The stage of the world cup in La Clusaz, in front of my supporters is important too.
But next two weeks I will be in the department Gers at my grand parents place. I go there every year. It is unique opportunity for me to meet my family, be at the seaside and enjoy the time. I will not be online there so I wish all nice summer.

Yours, Maurice
