My congratulations go to Justyna Kowalczyk , Dario Cologna and all the athletes for excellent performances throughout the eight tough stages in the fifth edition of the Viessmann FIS Tour de Ski performance by Craft Sportswear.

Numerous technical delegates, chiefs of competition and members of the CC committees came together for the traditional autumn meetings in Zurich last weekend.

The second meeting day is over and we had some very interesting discussion. On the schedule were the Sub Committees Rules & Control, Popular racing and World Cup .

Today the Cross-Country meetings kicked off with the executive meeting this morning. I have to say in advance that I am very proud with all what we reached all together.

The pursuit of the ladies was a great show. We saw very good performance under great conditions and the sun of the Callaghan Valley.

It was a great day with nice weather and good snow conditions.

Reading newspapers and speaking to Cross-Country fans, athletes and coaches from different nations can sometimes be an interesting task.

When walking around between the athletes and coaches during the first World Cup (WC) weekend, you could almost touch the tension and nervous expectation that come with an Olympic season. While someone is happy with a good start, others quietly have to refer to the old saying: “Wait until February, that’s when the clock starts running.”
