25th anniversary TjejVasan 2013 full – direct TV transmission

The 25th TjejVasan is already fully booked. The world’s biggest ski race for ladies has attracted 10,000 registered entries to ski the 30 kilometres from Oxberg to Mora Saturday 23 February 2013. TjejVasan will be transmitted live in SVT, Swedish Television.

TjejVasan has again been fully booked and breaks the entry record for the third year running! But those who missed entering TjejVasan can choose KortVasan which is run the day before. KortVasan also starts in Oxberg and is 30 kilometres. Just now there are about 3,000 places still available in KortVasan (which is open for both gents and ladies). Ladies who are considering Tjejklassikern can thus choose KortVasan instead of TjejVasan.

Three of the eight races in the 2013 Vasaloppet winter week are now fully booked. There are start places still available in KortVasan, Öppet Spår Sunday, Öppet Spår Monday, HalvVasan and UngdomsVasan.

Who will win?

Susanne Nyström can with good reason be nominated as “Miss TjejVasan”! She has, the last six years, won five victory garlands in TjejVasan and, moreover, in 2011 she had a second place. She also has a Vasaloppet victory (2010) and three Swedish National Championship golds (in team sprint and relay) among her merits.
