Sprint in Free technique took place in Monguelfo-Welsberg in Italy. This city sprint was not only part of the OPA Cup, Slavic Cup but is also linked with 27th Gsiesler Tall Lauf. City of Welsberg lies about 110 km northeast of the city of Trento and about 60 km northeast of the city of Bolzano (Bozen). 

Federico Pellegrino of Italy took first place leaving behind Austrian Markus Bader and Switzerland's Joeri Kindshi. Victory in ladies' sprint went to Laurien Van Der Graaf of Switzerland. Gaia Vuerich defended Italian colors and took second place. Manon Locatelli of France finished third.
