Russia's Anastasia Voronina was the quickest lady in yesterday's 0,2 km sprint free at the FIS Roller Skiing World Cup in Markkleeberg. In the A Final Voronina edged out Sweden's Maria Magnusson by +0.6 sec. Ksenia Konohova completed the Russian sprint dominance as she stormed to third place having denied the podium to the winner of the Friday's competition Kathrine Rolsted Harsem of Norway.
Ragnar Bragvin Andresen of Norway won on the men's side as she spurted over Russia's Evgeniy Abdurakhmanov. B Final was all about Italy as Emanuele Sbabo and Alessa Berlanda fought for third place. Sbabo was the luckier one and stormed to third place.
Men's junior sprint was dominated by Emanuele Becchis (ITA) before Andrey Melikov (RUS) and Alexander Gavrilov (RUS). Margarita Tolochko of Russia celebrated victory in the junior ladies competition ahead of Lisa Bolzan (ITA) and Kira Claudi (GER).
