The traditional Marit –sprint took place in Budal, today. “It’s a true fun to see all the happy kids,” Marit Bjoergen told to nrk.no. After the race, the role changed for the Cross-Country World Cup Big Crystal Globe winner 2011/12. It was Marit Bjoergen who was hanging medals around kids’ necks after Marit-sprint in South Trøndelag.
In total 350 kids took part in the sixth edition of event. Some kids were not sure if there was the real Marit Bjoergen supporting them on the course. “ They are used to seeing me on TV so they did not think it was me,” Bjoergen laughed.
