Anders Aukland of Norway took victory in the König Ludwig Lauf. His time in the finish of 42 km Classic was 1:44.13.4. Jorgen Aukland finished second with a time gap of 1 min. Norwegian hegemony was complete when John Bjorgaard finished 3rd staying behind Jorgen Aukland by only 1 second.
Victory in shorter race over 21 km classic went to Czech Republic as Viktor Novotny finished first with time 00:52:07.9. Another Czech Daniel Slechta claimed second place in a tight finish by only 00:00:00.3 sec. Christian Otto (GER) captured third place staying behind 00:01:14.1 sec.
