Axel Teichmann became father of daughter. Teichmann confirmed this news to Thüringen newspaper tlz.de. Girl named Selma was born last Monday. Both the baby and Teichmann's living partner Steffi are healthy.
"There was good timing and everything worked out fine. I had just vacation at that time" joked happy Axel Teichmann who has already started preparation for next season. Year 2010 will certainly belong to Teichmann's most successful both in professional and personal life.
At Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver he captured silver medals in Team Sprint and in 50 km Classic. There were rumors after the end of the season about Teichmann's end of racing career. Teichmann overcame speculations by announcing to continue the career. Whether he fill go for the whole 4-year Olympic cycle remains unclear.
