The city of Sandnes prepares for this year's rollerski highlight - Blink festival, which kicks of on 23 July.
History of Blink festival goes back to 2006. Every year since then the best Cross-Country and Biathlon skiers have gathered in Sandnes to see the World's elite. In 2008 the festival was attended by 40.000 spectators.
Cross-Country part of the festival starts tomorrow afternoon with 10 km/15 km Mass Start race. Festival continues on Saturday with sprints. Besides the Cross-Country part the best biathletes find their way to Sandnes to take part in shoot out competition, pursuit race and a sprint.
Organizers prepared rich culture program ranging from music concert of pop band Roxette on Friday to football matches and kids events.

Petter Northug, Tor Arne Hetland, Dario Cologna and Curdin Perl, Tobi Angerer, Josef Wenzl, Simen Oestensen, Eldar Roenning, Oeystein Pettersen, Ola Vigen Hatestad, Evi Sachenbacher Stehle, Marit Bjoergen, Therese Johaug, Vibeke Skofterud or Astrid Jacobsen. This is only a short list of athletes that will be found on Friday on Saturday in Sandnes.
