The Swedish champion wants to improve in the sprints to be back to win at the Cermis three years after her first success in 2008.

Charlotte Kalla, the gold medalist from the 10 km free technique has already resumed training for the upcoming season.
She decided together with team staff to increase training hours from 750 to total 770.

Increase competitiveness in sprints

The basic idea is to focus more on sprints.

The Swedish 22 year old wants to improve on shorter distances to become more competitive. One of the objectives is to recall victory in Tour de Ski from 2008. Magnus Ingesson decided to step down from the role of Tre Kronor ladies' coach to spend more time with his family. He will though continue to advise some athletes by telephone. Kalla also continue collaboration with Lars-Erik Sandler in mental training.
