Vincent Vittoz ended professional racing career and the city of La Clusaz plans farewell celebration on Friday.

After 16 seasons in the French team, first and only French title of the World Cross-Country Champion and four Olympics, Vincent Vittoz retired from professional Cross-Country skiing.

Vittoz comes from La Clusaz, mountain resort, which also hosts Cross-Country World Cup events. Vittoz promoted the town and the region throughout his racing career and the city of La Clusaz is going to celebrate Vittoz' successful 16 seasons.

On Friday, 15 April at 18:00 the celebration takes place in Place de l'eglise in La Clusaz.
