Athletic Club AC Syner Trutnov got very good acquisition. Martin Koukal, bronze medalist from Whistler, World Champion from 2003 plans to join for summer athletic club and take part in the Czech top Athletics Leage competitions.
Koukal's intention is to run races of 3.000, 5.000 and 10.000 m. "When I was young I used to run for a track and field club in my home town" explained Koukal to Czech media. Koukal will be joined by another companion from the Czech national squad, Ales Razym. They should hit the mark in early June. "It will variegate my spring training. I try to get every year some new impulse in my preparation" continued Koukal. For him it is clear what is the highlight next season: "World Champs in Oslo is a clear priority for me. 50 km race will be carried out in free technique. Also because of this I decided to run longer distances".
