Team Sprint Olympic champion Evi Sachenbacher-Stehle is going to end the season earlier than planned.

Sachenbacher-Stehle will take part in the last competition of the season on the upcoming weekend in Lahti and will skip the World Cup final a week later in Stokcholm and Falun. "This season did not go as I had planned and would like to end the season with a good result, " said Sachenbacher-Stehle.

"I would have liked a better course of the season. But things happen and I'm only human. And I have once again learned that health is the most important thing," concluded Sachenbacher-Stehle.
