First central performance tests for German skiers to take place in Oberhof

This week and particularly on Thursday German skiers take part in the first central performance tests in Oberhof. A sprint, cross running and roller skiing competitions are on the testing program.

After the treadmill tests at the beginning of the week first competition is scheduled on Thursday, classical sprint in the Ski Hall of Oberhof. The prologue kicks off at 18:00 CET and finals start at 18:30 CET. On Saturday German skiers will be checking their shape in 5 km cross running competition for the ladies and 10 km for the men.  The final test is scheduled on Sunday at 9:00 when the roller skiing competition starts.

Prominent Withdrawals

Similar to years before there are again prominent withdrawals due to injuries. Axel Teichmann is not taking part in the tests because of problems with his shoulder tendon. Tobias Angerer will not be at the start either due to joint inflammation. The rest of Germany’s Cross-Country squad is expected to start in Oberhof.
