The FIS World Cup Cross-Country (December 3-4) is one of the great, international tourist attractions for the sports city of Dusseldorf.
The ski spectacle on the border of the Rhine River provides impressive numbers in its tenth year too. The anniversary event will be broadcast live on ZDF on both days and to about 25 countries world-wide.
This year, particularly Dutch visitors are being targeted by the sportAgentur. In a special, joint activity with the Dutch advertising paper network ACMedia more than 700,000 Dutch households from Enschede to Eindhoven will be approached during November.
Besides the expected tens of thousands of spectators on site, the FIS World Cup Cross-Country will also once again enjoy world-wide coverage in the media.
