The Norwegian team is here only with the non-Olympic participants but still the racers are on top level and can win tomorrow.
"Also the sprint course here in Canmore is demanding. It is probably one of the toughest classical sprint course in this season. It will be the first time that is course is used for the World Cup, in the past the course was slightly shorter and less demanding. We expect again a great competition, well prepared and beautiful weather conditions supported by a high number of spectators. During the Olympics we will run the classical sprint as well and I'm quite sure some of the podium athletes of tomorrow will take a medal in Vancouver." says Jürg Capol.
Additonal remark: Tomorrow evening already the first transfer to the Whistler Olympic Parc will take place. A lot of stuff goes directly there while not all teams are going for the last preparation to Whistler. The Swedish athletes for example are moving to Mount Washington and also the Finnish athletes are going back to Silver Star, where they trained before. In Silver Star, also the Czech Team is staying for preparation to the Olympics.
