Special remarks to the participants:
Still in the race of the World Cup Final are 48 ladies and 57 men. This World Cup Final will also the last races of Virpi Kuitunen (FIN) and Anna Olsson (SWE). Pirjo Muranen will be not at the start tomorrow as she already went back home after the sprint in Stockholm.
Race Director Jürg Capol's remark:
I expect an exciting race tomorrow. The Mörderbakken is very famouns in falun and a quite challenging uphill but I guess also the downhill will be decisive as it is a long one and has some tricky curves. To win tomorrow, you have to be strong in the uphill as well in the downhill. Interesting for me will be to see how the so-called sprinter manage this course - I guess some of them can be strong - like for example Emil Joensson. For sure among the favourites are also Dario Cologna and Petter Northug on the men's side and as well on the ladies side Charlotte Kalla, Marit Bjoergen and Justyna Kowalczyk.
