FIS World Cup Cross-Country Lahti

Used Course Ladies:

4x2x2,5km Men:4x3x3,3km

Special remarks to the participants:

Tomorrow we will have the relay's with 10 teams on the ladies side and 12 on the men's side. Still sick are the local favourites Virpi Kuitunen and Aino Kaisa Saarinen.

Race Director Jürg Capol's remark:

We will have the second relay in this World Cup season. We expect good conditions with sunny weather and nice competitions. Main favourite on ladies side will be Norway and the team to beat on the men's side will be Russia.
After the Olympic for sure not all the best athletes are here but still it is a good field on the start. In the Nations Cup it is quite tight and the tomorrows race will be important. Norway is leading with only 108 points ahead of the Russians. The winning team will get 200 points but be careful only the team number 1 will count.
