Head Coach Frank Ullrich has nominated two women and two men for the race in Quebec. While the distance runners have flown for several days in the home, the sprinters are directly traveled from Finland to overseas. For Sprint Team Daniel Heun comes to coming to the city sprints in Quebec to use his first World Cup this year.

WOMEN

Hanna Kolb

Denise Herrmann

MEN

Josef Wenzl

Daniel Heun

Head Coach Frank Ullrich - "The women had very solid performances in the season opener.  The men's team has shown that the athletes need some time to properly aclimatize in the competitions. Yet they are highly motivated and in good shape.

For the sprint races in Quebec, we have come with a small, dynamic team. The distance runners have used this World Cup weekend, a few days to fly home. They will travel on December 7, together to Canmore. The men's duo completing in Quebec will be Daniel Heun. He did well this past weekend at the internal qualification in Munster at the Swiss World Cup start.

We don't have high expectations for the sprints in Quebec. Especially for the younger starters, they are here to expand their competition experience, especially in the team sprint."

Josef Wenzl - "I am satisfied with my performances in my season-opener in Kuusamo. Although I feel that I'm pretty tired from training, but that was expected from our intensive basic training. Together with Hanna and Denise I travelled on Saturday night from Kuusamo to Helsinki.  Then on Sunday we traveled to Quebec. This was important to overcome the jet lag as soon as possible and get ready for the upcoming sprints. If everything goes smoothly, I hope here at the city-sprint to place among the top-15. "
