Ingvild Flugstad Østberg and Lars Viglia Odsæter were fastest in the qualification of the sprint free technique in Latvian Sigulda which is part of the Scandinavian Cup.

Top three after sprint qualification is Flugstad Østberg (NOR), Kjersti Bøe (NOR) Kaija Udras (EST).

Men's qualification was dominated by Lars Viglia Odsæter (NOR) followed by Hans Petter Lykkja (NOR) and Peeter Kummel (EST).
