Last week signed Justyna Kowalczyk new sponsorship deal with a Polish bank worth 125.000 EUR. She also admits that she has trained more volume than last year.
"I spent three weeks on the Dachstein glacier. Skiing there was perfect and weather was warm so I could train in a swimming suit. I am now leaving for Estonian Otepää wherr I plan to stay for three weeks."
Justyna Kowalczyk is known for her strength oriented skiing and good physical preparation. She admits, that this year has carried even more volume training than ever. "Actually, after the season I did not have a real break" she said to Polish newspapers sport.pl and continued: "in April we went to Kamchatka, then we had three-week camp in the mountains. When you are on a mountain training camp it is always about volume. The hardest times I had in the Sierra Nevada, where I trained at a height of over two thousand meters. " Kowalczyk team remains more or less unchanged and it is clear what she wants to achieve next season. "I would like to win for the third time the big Cristal globe. Oslo World Champs is the goal as well. I train the same way as before Liberec 2009, so I will see how it goes" says Kowalczyk.
