On October 26th Justyna Kowalczyk concluded the training camp on the Dachstein glacier. The Polish ace spent in the Austrian Alps more than three weeks. During this time, she skied many kilometres on skis on the glacier, tested the equipment for the new season, worked on strength and endurance in the gym and carried out training sessions on roller skis.
"On Friday, in the morning we plan the last workout, then lunch, and then we go Poland. At night, we should already be at home," Kowalczyk's coach Alexander Wierietielny says.
Justyna Kowalczyk won't stay long in Poland as she has planned another training camp. In Early November Justyna Kowalczyk and her team will travel to the North, to Finland. She has decided to spend las weeks before the FIS Cross-Country World Cup kick offs in Muonio.
"There are many reasons why we decided to go there. First of all, it is a great resort, and if there is no snow anywhere in Europe, there will certainly be. Secondly Muonio is only 3.5 hours drive from Geallivare," Justyna Kowalczyk explains.
FIS Cross-Country World Cup starts in Gällivare on November 24. Read more about Justyna Kowalczyk at www.justyna-kowalczyk.pl
