Martin Johnsrud Sundby won the men's 15 km free technique competition at the Norwegian nationals in Voss.

Sundby dominated the competition in 37:35.3 and beat UKs Andrew Musgrave who finished more than a minute off the pace. Since a foreigner cannot be awarded a medal at the Norwegian championships the silver medal goes to Ronny Fredrik Ansnes who finished third. Veteran Thomas Alsgaard won the bronze medal having finished 1:23.3 behind the winner.

"It was totally awesome, great fun to ski today. Conditions were not ideal but it was the same for everybody," Sundby told.
