Petra Majdic (SLO) won second stage of Tour de Barents and increased the lead in overall standing.

Petra Majdic won second stage of Tour de Barents in Inari, Finland over 10 km Mass Start Free. In 25:53.3 Majdic beat Norway's Kristin Stoermer Steira who lost +30.9 sec on Majdic. Finnish Mari Laukkanen grabbed third place.

With the second victory Majdic increased the lead in Tour de Barents to +58 sec. Finnish girls occupy current second and third places. Kerttu Niskanen is second +58 sec. Krista Lähteenmäki is third +1:11.6 behind.

Tour de Barents has a free day on Friday 8 April and continues on Saturday with Classical Sprint in Rovaniemi.
