Petter Northug wins at Topidrettsveka

After 29th and 22nd places in first races at Topidrettsveka Petter Northug found pace and momentum and captured victory in the sprint race. Sweden's Ida Ingemarsdotter won ladies' race.

After several bad races Petter Northug is back and destroyed the field in the sprint at Topidrettsveka. The evening sprint took place in Aure. Northug's teammate Eldare Roenning captured second place and edged out Swden's Mats Larsson to third spot.

On the ladie's side Ide Ingemarsdotter took revenge from last year when she broke her hand and could follow the Topidrettsveak from a tribune. In the finish she sent second Hanna Falk to second place and Marit Bjoergen to third spot. Charlotte Kalla finished fifth and increased total gap on Bjoergen.
