370 athletes from 24 countries will mark first World Cup weekend of new Holmenkollen. The major participants nations are Norway, Russia, Italy and Finland, but also Denmark, Luxembourg and United Kingdom are registered for upcoming weekend.

Cross country: 21 nations (including Denmark, Luxenburg, United Kingdom)
Ski Jumping: 18 nations
Nordic Combined: 14 nations

"We are very happy about participation. We anticipated that it number of athletes and teams could be reduced because Olympics had ended last week. Usually 250-300 athletes have taken part in the World Cup in Holmenkollen, "said sports director of the Nordic World Ski Championships 2011  Lasse Ottesen.

Time 11:00 to 12:30 Cross-country skiing 30 km, women, mass, freestyle
Time 12.45 to 15.15 Cross-country skiing 50 km, men, Mass, freestyle
Competition schedule Sunday, 14 March
Time 10:45 to 11:45 Cross-country sprint, qualifying, freestyle, women / men
Time 15.30 to 17.45 Cross-country sprint final, freestyle, women / men
