13.500 fans were cheering on the athletes in yesterday's competitions and even bigger audience is expected. "It was a great atmosphere in the woods during the mass start competitions in Nove Mesto yesterday, the local fans love the nordic sports," FIS Cross-Country Race Directot Jürg Capol says.

Relay competitions are traditional highlights in Nove Mesto and Cross-Country skiing fans are looking forward to two thrilling races.  "Today we have the second relay in the season, Olympic winner Sweden against the World Champion Norway... or could it be Russia or somebody else who will win the men’s relay?" Jürg Capol says.

On the ladies' side the team to beat is definitely Norway.
