Julia Ivanova celebrates second Russian title at National Championships in Tyumen. On the men's side Igor Usachev is Russia's best sprinter for 2012.
Ivanova went for a "Marit Bjoergen" tactics and attacked full speed right from the start. She built up the gap of 5 meters on the runner up and silver medalist Eugenia Shapovalova and Polina Medvedeva.
Igor Usachev laid down the fastest qualification time and dominated all the way thrugh to the finals. Stanislav Volzhentsev added to his gold medal from 15 km silver medal from today's sprint. Anton Gafarov won bronze medal after tight finish with Mikhail Deviatiarov.
