Specialists win MTB race at Toppidrretsveka

For MTB fans it was no surprise that Borghild Løvset crossed the finish line of the stage 2 of the Toppidrretsveka 2012. Heidi Rosasen Sandstø went for the second place as Ingrid Lorvik came home in third. Cross-Country skiers Marit Bjoergen, Heidi Weng and Marthe Kristoffersen did not start in the 2 stage of Toppidrretsevka but are at the start of the afternoon's sprint.
On the men's side riders of the Team United Bakeries dominate top four spots as Ole Hem went for victory in 1:19:45.8. Some Cross-Country skiers decided to sit out the morning 35 km MTB race and focus on the afternoon sprint, howeer the best Cross-Country skier finished in 5th place - Martin Andrsen lost on the winner 1:42 sec.
