At today’s press conference in Prague, Skinfit Racing team director Marc Hager presented the new team for 2012. Together with some well known names like Koukal or Shevchenko, the team signs up with 3 big “names”
The famous Czech skier Stanislav Rezac, Slovakian Martin Baijicak and the Italian women Stephanie Santer are participating for Skinfit Racing in the upcoming season.
Hager presents the following team for 2012 - 2013
Martin Koukal, Stanislav Rezac (Czech), Martin Bajicak (Slovakia), Valentina Shevchenko (Ukraine), Stephanie Santer (Italy), Toni Escher and Andy Gerstenberger (Germany), Marco Mühlematter (Suiss), Lars Suther and Marcus Ottosson (Sweden), Lukas Weitgasser, Markus Keplinger and Martin Sutter (Austria)
„For sure we have a strong team for the upcoming season. We are going to split the team into 2 groups. One is focusing on FIS Marathon and the others are racing the Ski Classics series” explains Hager.
„Especially the professional management and the great organisation are a big bonus for Skinfit Racing. I really enjoy being a member in that great team and hope to race well in winter” says Stephanie Santer
„The last years I always started at some marathon races. I really like the long distance and we will see how good I can handle a full season in long distance skiing” says Bajcicak
