Team Exspirit started out the season in May with a training camp in Montenegro. After a summer mostly training on their own, the team is ready for another camp. This time they will get together in the Swedish mountains and Årefjällen. For 10 days they will be based out of Holiday Club Hotel in Åre, taking as much advantage as possible of the terrain in the area.

"It's always fun to meet up with the team and especially after not seeing each other for a while. The swedish mountains works very well for over distance runs in tough terrain, something we will take advantage of as much as possible during the camp," says Team Captain Oskar Svärd.

Team Exspirit is the world's leading long distance cross country ski team with 55 training camp days planed before the first Ski Classics race of the season.

"The camps are very important for the team and for the preparations for the winter and coming Ski Classics races. The athletes get great opportunities to train head to head in tough terrain but it's also important to create a good team spirit," says Team Director David Nilsson.

As of today Team Exspirit consists of five athletes, Oskar Svärd, Jimmie Johnsson, Nicola Morandini, Jenny Hansson and Seraina Boner. Follow us at our homepage and Facebook during the coming week for exciting news about the team and the 2013 Ski Classics Season.
