After just a week of rest the Ski Classics move on to the next race, König Ludwig Lauf in Oberammergau Germany. Team Exspirit have reloaded their batteries in Seefeld, Austria with perfect conditions and atmosphere. Team Exspirit took an outstanding double victory in the women’s category of Marcialonga with Susanne Nyström as the winner and Jenny Hansson in second place. Now they’re ready for another race of the victory.
"I feel good recovered after last weekend and we’ve had perfect conditions in Seefeld. I’ve never done a great race in König Ludwig Lauf but I’m still in good shape and will race fast on Sunday" says Susanne Nyström.
There’s a lot of snow in the Oberammergau region and the weather forecast calls for cold temperatures during the weekend.
"Colder temperatures should fit me well. I grew up in Laisvall, far up north in Sweden and I’m used to real winter conditions. It will be an exciting race on Sunday and I’m ready" continues Susanne.
Oskar Svärd and Seraina Boner are both healthy again after sitting out last weekend’s race in Italy and Team Exspirit will have a full team at the starting line. Also racing for Team Exspirit is Jenny Hansson, Jimmie Johnsson, Mathias Fredriksson, Rikard Andreasson and Anton Sjöholm.
