Running workouts with Remo Fischer, strength training with Toni Livers or roller ski session with Dario Cologna and Curdin Perl - this is reality for winner of the Helvetia Nordic Trophy 2009/2010.

Helvetia Nordic Trophy is a series of competition for youngsters. Promising young talents Michèle Garbely and Jules Cuenot spent one week with the cross-country distance team in the Jura. They have earned this unique experience thanks their excellent performance during the last Helvetia Nordic Trophy.


The whole team stayed at the Hotel Les Cernets. "The family atmosphere and level of service s was excellent "says Remo Fischer. Harder part of training carried out the group on roller skis, running, in fitness center or by physiotherapist Christophe Pinsard .
"Whenever possible, we integrated the training of young athletes in the training of our distance team. We wanted to give the youngster possibility to collect a lot of impressions about the training of elite athletes and even train at a high level with them " reported Edi Zihlmann on the training camp. The highlight of the week was mountain running to Chasseron. The 1607 meter high peak in the Jura Vaudois seemed unattainable at the beginning, but eventually the whole team made it to the top. "These young athletes were working very hard" concluded Edi Zihlmann .
