Toppidrettsveka in Aure/Kristiansund

In only couple of hours the sports week in Aure/Kristiansund kicsk off. World's skiing elite will meet at Toppidrettsveka in Aure/Kristiansund. German stars show up too.

The sport week will commence with a Mass start Free event over 17/24 km from Aure to Brekka and will be part of the FIS World Rollerski World Cup. Many Cross-Country skiing specialists will be at the start. German colors will be represented by Evi Sachanbecher-Stehle, Steffi Böhler and Monique Siegel. On the men's side Tobi Angerer and Tim Tscharnke will fight with Petter Northug, Vincent Vittoz, Marcus Hellner or Maurice Manificat.

Even though the rollerski specialists will enjoy a rest day on Thursday, there are two races scheduled for Cross-Country athletes. In the morning they will fight 38 km long MTB race and in the afternoon they will race head to head in Classical sprint. For Friday a 3.000 m race in Kristiansund is prepared and a Team Sprint event. Saturday will close up the Toppidrettsveka with 18 km Pursuit and 200 m sprint.
