German Cross-Country Skiing season got started yesterday in Oberhof.

Stefi Boehler and Josef Winzel claimed wins third annual indoor sprint free in ine the ski hall in Oberhof. In minus temperatures at the Oberhof Ski Hall Böhler won the 2.0 km sprint free ahead of Katrin Zeller of Oberstdorf and Sandra Ringwald of Schonach.

Josef Wenzl edged out compatriot Tim Tscharnke and the Russian Ilya Chernousov. On Saturday, the DSV central performance test continues with a Cross-Country running race and will conclude on Sunday with a rollerskiing pursuit race.
