The icon of French Cross-Country skiing Vincent Vittoz decided to end his long and successfull sport career.

Vincent Vittoz was member of the French national Cross-Country team since 1995 and he gained about thirty World Cup podium results and a dozen victories in individual and team World Cup competitions.

Vincent Vittoz became World Champion in 15+15 km Pursuit in Oberstdorf 2005. In spite of the season of injuries and illness Vittoz managed to score a podium last weekend in Lahti. Vittoz will take part in the last World Cup level race tomorrow in 15 km Free Handicap Start and will mark an end to the 16 years long sport career.
