Last week we informed that Øystein "Poelsa" Pettersen fell down of his bike and broke his wrist.

Morale is high

Despite this painful injury Pettersen's morale stays high. "The arm is broken, but morale is strong as steel!" writes Poelsa on his blog. Precisely according to the saying Pettersen does not give up. " After the injury I went home. I was thinking if I should push the emergency button. But then I said to myself: OK, it is painful but I will get over" says Pettersen.

Good aspects of injury

Not even he does not resign but he found good aspects of the injury. "Now I have a great chance to train my weakest part of skating, skating without poles." admits Pettersen and goes on: "during the sprint this skill together with good balance is very important, so it's not stupid to get trained on this." Despite his injury Øystein Pettersen looks forward to further training. "I'm ready for the tough work from the start!" ends Poelsa his blog post.
