Petter Northug, Sami Jauhojaervi and Dario Cologna are biggest favorites for the overall victory.Petter Northug is a clear favorite. 23 years old youngster, multiple World Champion from World Championships in Liberec, second in the last year Viessmann FIS World Cup Cross-Country season gained 54% of votes. Northug is an outstanding phenomenon of Cross-Country skiing. It will be though pretty tough for him to claim the overall victory. 28 year-old Sami Jauhojaervi of Finland was the second in the fans' poll acquiring 17% of votes. Dario Cologna was ranked third with 15%. Perhaps his injury in autumn affected expectation of fans for upcoming season. It would be, however, mistake to underestimate the Swiss. After all he is the Tour de Ski 2008/09 and overall World Cup Cross-Country winner 2008/09. Without any doubts we can say that a thrilling 2009/10 Cross-Country season is coming.
