VENUE DESCRIPTION
Davos - Magical moments, day after day.
The contrast between urban Davos and quieter Klosters, which has retained its village character, is unique and could hardly be greater. But the resorts have two assets in common: a fascinating natural mountain world and a diversity of sporting, leisure and cultural attractions that has to be seen to be believed. You can arrange your holiday to be as eventful or relaxing as you choose. Because here you are in the heart of the action. And here you can also enjoy peace and tranquillity.

Hit a new high every day.
Davos Klosters offers the ideal environment for an active holiday in spectacular Alpine surroundings. The region offers over 300 kilometres of pistes spread over six different areas and 110 km of cross-country skiing trails. The wide range of outdoor attractions is enhanced by 8 different sledge runs, ice sports including ice skating, ice hockey and curling and also paragliding. The 157 km of prepared winter-walking paths offer an invitation to explore the countryside.

Thrilling adventures, unforgettable experiences.
Davos Klosters is your personal snow kingdom for your winter holiday. The longer you stay, the less you'll want to leave. On the one hand this is down to our unsurpassed surroundings and on the other to our endless possibilities. Discover the captivating charm of the Sertig, Dischma and Monbiel side valleys and enjoy a natural world far from any hustle and bustle. On one of the many winter-walking trails, a snowshoe trek or a horse-drawn sleigh ride through a winter-white landscape, you'll feel as though time has stood still.

COMPETITION SITE

The Davos Nordic Cross-Country stadium is situated centrally in Davos Dorf (1560 m a.s.l.) - within walking distance to hotels, restaurants and public transport. The well-prepared skiing tracks start from Bünda and reach far into the Flüela side valley.
The capacity of the stadium is about 5.000 spectators and on the tracks approx. another 3.000 can follow the competitions. The entrance to the stadium and the tracks is free for all! Follow the race on the ‘Big Screen' and enjoy the very nice atmosphere having a Raclette or other specialties at the Nordic Lounge.
Never ever since 1974 - when the International Cross Country days have taken place the first time in Davos - the OC of Davos Nordic had to cancel the races for the reason of lack of snow!
