VENUE DESCRIPTIONLienz
The holiday region of the Lienz Dolomites has been favoured for a long time by guests, who adore the sun and quality of life in the impressive mountain backdrop.
To discover the snow-covered landscape around Lienz, it's best to select the cross-country skiing or the Nordic Walking routes. On the flat slopes you can get to know the valley floor and set out in the tracks of the pros, who line up annually in January at the Dolomitenlauf.
Groomed trails take you from Lienz through the floor of the basin into the Isel valley and the Puster valley. Forget all your cares and problems and enjoy the sunshine and the natural beauty of this winter snowscape on both sides of the track. The x-country trails are used as cycleways in summer. The most popular route for cyclists is the Drau cycleway (R1).
